Club Damour is a bold, flirtatious, and fiery cabaret that serves up a sizzling mix of leather,
stilettos, and aerial acrobatics, all under the dazzling direction of its witty and glamorous host—a
trans version of Cruella de Vil. With razor-sharp humour and stunning flair, the host keeps the
energy high, at one point hilariously referring to a male cast member as premium Sicilian beef,
which perfectly encapsulates the cheeky and seductive tone of the show.
From start to finish, Club Damour is an unapologetic celebration of sensuality and strength. The
dance scenes are fiery, none more so than a tantalizing romantic wrestle performed in striking
red leather. The show even manages to pull in audience members; tonight it was a guy named
Fletcher, who gamely participated in the straight white man act, proving that everyone is fair game in this raunchy romp.
The cabaret is more than just cheeky antics. The aerial and trapeze acts are feats of physical
prowess, blending artistry and strength to leave the audience in awe. Even with a few minor
lighting hiccups, the overall sensory spectacle remained unspoiled, keeping the audience
riveted.
There are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, like a dunny roll being sent flying into the crowd,
proving that Club Damour isn’t afraid to embrace both high art and low-brow humour. The
closing act is nothing short of iconic—a big gay number; filled with feathers, pearl necklaces,
and Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” Could we expect anything else from such
a fabulous affair?
For those looking for more, grab a ticket for Club Damour or its sister show, Happy Endings, a
fairy-tale-themed adult circus. Both promise unforgettable nights of entertainment.
