On the eve of tropical cyclone Koji forming, the Daly radiated summer vibes with a three-act line up to celebrate the new year with a smorgasbord of blues, indie and surf-rock tunes. Thank God the weather didn’t put a stop to (or a dampener on) this awesome rock line-up. THE DIESEL GYPSIES Hailing from the Whitsundays was the opening act, the Diesel Gypsies with the raspy vocals of singer Tahlia Meadows, and heavy guitar work from her bandmates.
